Facebook Rolls Out a New Plan To Improve Education





The social media giant has announced that it will be working alongside Summit Schools in order to provide a new educational software to teachers and students in the US free of cost.

One of the biggest tech companies in the world, Facebook is all set to start a new project to help make attaining education on the social media a much easier process. A recent report talks about how the media company has signed a deal with Summit Schools in order to build up brand new software which will be making the classroom experience into an interesting experience for the users, by mixing it new technology.

The firm has collaborated with Summit keeping in mind how the schooling system carried out by the school has always been dominated by technology and how it has always used it spread education on a bigger scale. Summit has been using the media technology to help students reach out to lectures and tests of all kinds on the internet and this is what has inspired the social media firm to start a project with it.

Now for the collaboration, report says that by working side by side with Summit, Facebook business will be working towards providing a new software to the schools in the country and to the students which will be making their learning experience a much improved one. Furthermore, the software which will be built by the media firm will be made available to all the institutions which will be able to get them more information and content to teach to the children of their schools.

Following the deal made between the two parties, Facebook has also made sure that the Personalized Learning Plan that Summit is famous for carrying out, gets improved to greater levels and reports also say the school’s tech program has helped around 2,000 students to obtain desired knowledge and also around a hundred teachers, who have taken help of the PLP to improve their teaching techniques and content.

Facebook is currently looking towards making the program public to all schools in the United States of America so that education is free and easily attainable throughout the social media. Analysts in the industry are seen discussing how the social media platform is the first tech company of its kind to take an active part in spreading education to all levels and that too, for free.

On the other hand, Facebook has made sure that the PLP program can be accessed by any individual that wishes to learn without the restriction of him having an account on the media site. The firm will also be working alongside the privacy pledge for student that Summits works with, which is why the personal information of the students will be lept safe and away from even the Facebook employees.
