H-1B Visas Need Reforms Which Might Put Facebook In Trouble

The social media giant is believed to be giving more jobs to foreign individuals which is making the local people more and more jobless and unemployed.

Facebook Inc is yet again going through trouble on a higher level and this time it is coming from Donald Trump, who is one of the people running for the presidential campaign to take place in 2016. The whole campaign has been shook up by Trump who believes that the skilled labors in the country are not being offered enough jobs as they should and are left unemployed because those jobs are instead given to individuals coming in from other countries.

This remark has been directed towards Mark Zuckerberg, who is the CEO of the social networking company, who is known to be hiring too many employees from other countries which is believed to be becoming a barrier for the people living in the country as they are then left jobless. The attack made on Facebook’s hiring policy is not silent as it has been mentioned in one of the press conferences that Trump has so far made. According to him, the immigration policy that is being followed by the media company and others of its kind in the industry needs to be reformed as soon as possible.

Furthermore, it is to be believed by him that specifically, a change needs to be brought about in the H-1B visa forms that are seen helping giants like the media company to hire foreign employees in a cheaper rate than hiring the American nationals in a normal rate, which is why they are left with no good jobs to take and the international employees are given more leverage and preference. This is something that needs to change in order to put a halt to the problems being faced by the people living in the country regarding unemployment.

It is not a surprising factor that for employees coming in from other countries, this is nothing but a great opportunity for them and their families as they not only get a job in the country but it also allows them to bring in their families and settle in the country as well. These employees then apply for residency in the country which is a usual trend followed by every other foreign talent employed by the American companies.

He also believes that once reforms are made in the visa department and less employment is given to the foreigners, the jobless majorities and minorities in the country will then be able to get more jobs in the local companies without facing too much trouble or getting too dominated by individuals coming in from other countries. Trump also believes that the social networking giant might be taking away jobs of many local individuals if it keeps on giving more jobs to foreigners.
